Ms. Knighton has been a middle level math teacher for the past 10 years. She started her teaching career in Mahomet, IL where she taught math and science at a rural middle school. She then relocated to the Chicago suburbs to be closer to her family. She has been a middle level math teacher and team leader at Glenside for the past 7 years.

She earned her Bachelors in Middle Level Education from Illinois State University and a Masters in Education Administration from Concordia University Chicago.

On her free time, she enjoys the outdoors! Going camping, hiking, fishing, and kayaking are some of her hobbies. She also spends a lot of time with her friends and family!
