Principal and Assistant Principal's Message

  • Dear Glen Hill Families,

Welcome to the 2018-19 School Year!

I am excited to be a part of the Glen Hill Family as principal this year, and I look forward to continuing to work with our students and their families. I began my teaching career in Skokie School District 69 twenty-two years ago, where I was a middle school special education teacher. In 2014, I was a Program Coordinator for Cooperative Association for Special Education.  I joined Queen Bee as the assistant principal in 2015, where I have proudly served for three years. On a more personal note, I am a wife to a high school Dean of Students and mother to two sons and a daughter. As the mother of school-aged children, I understand the importance of keeping the lines of communication open between families, teachers and administrators to ensure the success of every student.

Mrs. Nicole Milewski, Assistant Principal, and I are proud to be a part of a school that continues to offer such valuable educational experiences for every student.  At Glen Hill, our vision is to celebrate diversity, inspire a passion for learning, and achieve potential. Our teachers encourage lifelong learning by educating students for academic excellence.  We support their development to become independent young adults. The staff is committed to making sure students feel a sense of belonging, learn and grow in a safe and welcoming environment, and find their independence, ability to problem solve and collaborate.

I look forward to collaborating with all families and community members to ensure each student has a positive and successful school year. Please feel free to contact me at 630.260.6141 or by email at jjonas@queenbee16.org.

    Sincerely,

    Jennifer Jonas
